Dear researchers, lecturers, doctoral and postgraduate students, educators,
teachers, media and public representatives, students! 

The Department of Journalism and Communication
is delighted to invite you to the ІV International scientific-practical conference,
to be held during May 21-23, 2025

«Intercultural communication in the context of the
globalization: development strategies»

Odesa, Ukraine

1. Linguistic intercultural communication
2. Informational space, intercultural communication, media and public activity
3. Intercultural communication in the process of European integration
4. Intercultural communication of foreign students in the process of professional training
5. The history of intercultural relations

Form of participation: in person and online.

The results of the conference:

participation in the conference + abstract (program, oral presentation, certificate of the participant) participation in conference + article in category B scientific journal «Black Sea Philological Studies».

To participate in the scientific and practical conference by
30 April, 2025 we ask participants:

1. To fill out the participant registration form using the link or QR-code
2. Abstracts should be written in an appropriate form as in the template (presented below) or articles according to the journal`s format (link) and sent by email zhurnalist.ONMU@gmail.com to the organizing committee. Name the files: Panel number_author`s surname, (For example: 1_Ivanenko.doc)
3. An electronic copy of a receipt of the organizational fee «participation in the conference + abstract / “participation in the conference + article»

Registration fees:

«participation in the conference + abstract»

- for Ukrainian scientists (residents of Ukraine) is 250 hrn for the abstract of 3 pages. For each additional page (above 3 pages), an extra fee of 40 hrn will be charged.
- for foreign participants is 20 € for the abstract of 3 pages. For each additional page (above 3 pages), an extra fee of 3 € will be charged. 

«participation in the conference + article»

- for Ukrainian scientists (residents of Ukraine)  is 1000 hrn for the article of 12 pages. For each additional page (above 12 pages), an extra fee of 40 hrn will be paid.
The publication fee covers the costs associated with peer reviewing, proofreading and copyediting the papers, layout and electronic version. At the request of the author of the article, they can order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is 800 UAH, which must be paid in addition to the publication fee.
- for foreign participants is 50 € per article (for 12 pages). For each additional page (above 12 pages), an extra fee 3 € will be charged. 

• Phisical certificates of participation with the volume of skill enhancement (15 hours – 0.5 ECTS credits) may be issued for order for 100 UAH

The publication fee should be paid by authors only after receiving confirmation from the editorial board of the abstract or article acceptance.

NOTE! Expenses related to in-person participation in the conference (travel, accommodation, etc.) are paid by participants at their own expense or at the expense of the sending organization.

Requirements for the design of materials for publication

The volume of abstracts is 3 pages of A-4 format (including figures, tables, photos, references).

Abstracts should be prepared in a Word for Windows text editor (font -Times New Roman 14, line spacing 1.5). Margins: top - 2 cm, bottom - 2 cm, left - 3 cm, right - 1.5 cm.
Pages are not numbered. Paragraph indentation - 1.25 cm.
Abstracts organization design:

1. Title of the abstract (centered, bold).
2. Name and surname of the author(s), academic degree, academic title, position, place of work/study, address of the place of work/study, ORCID ID (if any). Information about each co-author should be given in a separate paragraph (right alignment).
3. Abstract and keywords (italics, bold).
4. Main text.

Structural elements: Statement of the problem/ Goals and objectives/ Presentation of the main material/ Conclusions/ References (bold italics).

Materials that do not meet the specified requirements will not be considered by the organizing committee.
