Engraver. German by origin. In the early 1870s, he worked as an engraver in the printing house of P. Franzov in Odesa. In 1874, he returned to his homeland, in Leipzig. There are several works in the Museum of Leipzig History (Stadtgeschichtliches Museum Leipzig): a photograph and en-graved postcard from 1899–1900.
