Personalities Ingouf, François Robert (Ingouf Junior)

Engraver and etcher. Younger brother of the engraver Pierre-Charles Ingouf (known as the Elder). Pupil of Jean-Jacques Flipart. One of the best reproduction engravers of his time. He engraved portraits, genre paintings, vignettes, frontispieces and book illustrations. According to the catalog of the National Library of France, he owns more than 240 works.
