Engraver and etcher. Student of Pierre Drevet. He worked in the field of reproduction engraving. Made engravings for the two-volume edition "Recueil d'estampes d'après les plus beaux tableaux et d'après les plus beaux desseins qui sont en France: dans le Cabinet du roy, dans celuy de Monseigneur le duc d'Orléans, & dans d'autres cabinets" (A collection of engravings from the most beautiful paintings and the best drawings in France: in the royal cabinet, in the cabinet of the Duke of Orleans and in other cabinets; abbreviated: "Recueil Crozat") (1729-1742). Most of his works – 63 engravings – are kept in the National Library of France.
