Personalities Sadeler, Raphael II (Junior)
1584, Antwerp – 1632, Munich
Son of Raphael Sadeler I (1560–1632). Around 1596 he worked with his father in Venice, later in Bavaria, where he helped him create engravings for the publication of the german writer and historian Matthäus Rader "Bavaria sancta" (1615–1627), an illustrated collection of the lives of the Saints of Bavaria. From 1610 he was a member of the guild of St. Luke in Antwerp.
