The series "Life of the Virgin", consisting of six sheets (Annunciation, Visitation, Adoration of the shepherds, Circumcision, Adoration of the magi, The Holy Family with the infant St John the Baptist), was created in 1593-1594. Each sheet of this series was planned by the master as an imitation of the individual authorial style of different painters.
