(1665–1736) – French aristocrat, Marquis of Antin, Gondrin and Montespan (1691), first Duke of Antin and Prince of France (1711). Director of the King's Residences (1708–1736). Head of the Council on Internal Affairs during the regency era under the juvenille King Louis XV. Since 1724 – Knight of the Order of the Holy Spirit.
