The book by Ukrainian poet and novelist Polishchuk Valerian Lvovych is dedicated to the life and travels of one of the prominent Ukrainian personalities, wandering philosopher, writer, teacher and public figure – G.S.Skovoroda.
At the beginning of the book the author refers to G. S. Skovoroda own expressions, aphorisms and images from his works, and points to the historical origin of the materials used in the novel.
The work begins with an introduction and personal address to the reader, where the author is analizing the form of writing and the literary techniques used.
The novel "Hryhoriy Skovoroda" is a poetic-prose work, which combines a biographical story in prose with a poetic part, which highlights the emotional adventures and reflections of the protagonist.
