Engraver, draftsman, publisher and dealer in prints. A representative of the great dynasty of French engravers from Abbeville. Son and pupil of Jean-Baptiste de Poilly (1669-1728), grandson of Nicolas de Poilly the Elder (1626-1696). He engraved portraits, religious subjects, interiors, maps, decorative elements, etc. He also worked in the field of book illustration.
