Engraver and publisher of prints. Student of Bon de Boulogne. In 1736, he was elected a member of the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture. Exhibited at the Salon in 1737-1761. Engraved mainly from the originals of Antoine Watteau and Philips Wouwerman. After the paintings of the latter, he made a series of 89 engravings called "Oeuvres de Philippe Wouwermens Hollandois".
