Personalities Voyez, Nicolas Joseph

Engraver and etcher. He came to Paris at a young age. He studied with the engraver Jacques Firmin Beauvarlet, also a native of Abbeville. He engraved religious, mythological, genre subjects, as well as portraits based on the originals of other artists. His younger brother, François Voyez (1746–1805), was also an engraver.
