Engraver-reproductionist. He probably studied with the french engraver Guillaume Chasteau (1635–1683). From January 1673 he was a student at the French Academy in Rome, headed by N. Noël Coypel (1628–1707). He was married to the daughter of italian artist Giovanni Francesco Grimaldi.
