The fields are cropped.

The author and the name of the engraving are determined by means of comparison with similar engravings of G. B. Bolognini that are kept in the British Museum (London) and the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York).

The picturesque original, created by G. Reni in 1637–1640 on the order of English Queen Henrietta Maria, was lost. The picturesque copy of Reni's painting, attributed to Bolognini's brush (from private collection), was exhibited in 2018 at the National Art Gallery of Bologna. According to researchers, it was created by Bolognini in 1640–1642.
