Pesne, Antoine (Antoine Pesne; 1683, Paris – 1757, Berlin) – court painter of the Prussian royal court (from 1711), director of the Prussian Royal Academy of Arts in Berlin (from 1722). For about half a century he served at the court of three Prussian kings.
Hoffmann, Friedrich (1660, Halle – 1742, Halle) – German physician, one of the founders of the University of Halle (1693), where he headed the departments of medicine and natural philosophy. Personal physician of Prussian kings Frederick I and Frederick William I.
