Sheet from a series of twenty-four engravings dedicated to the life of Queen- Regent of France Maria de' Medici, made by various masters after Rubens' originals. A series of paintings was painted by Rubens in 1622-1623 for the Queen's Luxembourg Palace in Paris.
The originals are in the Louvre.
