The first women's Sunday school in Odessa was founded in 1887 as a private educational institution for adults, but at the beginning of the 20th century. It was maintained from the city budget and was free of charge. The school was located in the City Women's School on the street. Staroportofrankivska. The trustees at the reporting time were Countess A. I. Shuvalova (until January 1904) and L. S. Kuris (since 1904). The reports presented in the publication contain statistical data and information about educational programs, the library, school holidays, a list of teaching staff and financial reports of the school.
