The abstract contains a review of woody plants, prepared by the author on the basis of material collected during a trip to Katerynoslav Province. The first section describes wild plants along the Dnieper to Khortytsia and Bazavluk, gardens of private owners and German colonists, peasant plantings along country roads and school nursery-gardens. The second section is a diary that the author kept during a trip to Sura and Tomakivka basin. The third section gives general conclusions about the vegetation of the province.
