Yevhen Hrebinka (1812–1848) is a famous Ukrainian biker, writer and translator. The presented collection of his works, published in 1906 in the "Ukrainian Library" series, includes fables, selected poems, a translation of the poem "Poltava" and an essay dedicated to the Poltava region. A portrait of Yevhen Hrebinka is included. The introductory word about the writer's life and work was written by the literary critic and social and political activist, who became a victim of Stalin's terror, Serhii Yefremov.
