"Bomba", one of the most famous and popular literary and satirical magazines, had a conceptual orientation of the best samples of the Odesa satirical press. It was published in Odessa in April 1917 - March 1918 (40 issues). The editor and publisher of "Bomba" was Boris Davydovich Flit, a well-known Odesa journalist who worked under the pseudonym "Stranger". Yuriy Olesha, Eduard Bagrytskyi, Valentin Kataev and others were active members of the magazine.

The magazine was in color (most often with a second red ink) and was published with a large number of illustrations on 16 pages. The topics of the satirical and humorous publication changed depending on the relevance of the events; materials of artistic and journalistic genres (feuilletons, anecdotes), artistic genres (lyrical, philosophical stories, epigrams, fables) prevailed. The magazine published prose and poems by both well-known writers and beginners.

Illustrations raised acute social, political, economic and military issues of that time. The caricatures were distinguished by their sharpness and expressive manner. Cartoons in the "Zverynets" section regularly appeared in the magazine's columns. M. Lynsky for artists, writers and public figures.
