The anthology "In Eternal Memory of Taras Shevchenko" contains dedications by poets from all over Ukraine: poems by O. Afanasiev-Chuzhbynsky, V. Zabila, P. Kulish, M. Maksymovych, Y. Fedkovych, L. Hlibov, O. Konysky, V. Mova (Lymansky), M. Starytskyi, V. Shashkevych, I. Franko, B. Hrinchenko, V. Masliak, V. Samoilenko, A. Krymskyi, Lesya Ukrainka, M. Voronoi, B. Lepkyi, S. Yarychevskyi, K. Klymkovych, N. Kybalchych, M. Filyanskyi, L. Lototskyi, and others, and partly from abroad: Antony Sowa (E. Zheligowski), B. Zaleski, M. Nekrasov, and Yanka Kupala, translated into Ukrainian by the compiler. The book also includes two songs about Taras Shevchenko.
The end of the anthology contains information about the sources from which the works were taken. Despite the typographical errors, the anthology has become a valuable contribution to Shevchenko studies and an important declaration of unity in Ukraine, which was then divided between two empires.
