The book examines the work of the outstanding painter Oleksa Kharlampiyovych Novakivskyi (1872–1935) for the first time. The author of the article, the well-known journalist and art critic Vasyl Onisymovych Khmury (1896–1940), examines the creative path of the artist in detail, paying special attention to the most important Kraków and Lviv periods. As in other books of this series, the monographic article is followed by an album of black and white reproductions.
The ONNB copy is protected by a hard frame, while the publisher's paper cover of the artist V. Krychevskyi's work has been preserved. The book is in satisfactory condition, all pages are present, without significant defects.
