Mykhajlo Hrushevski (1866-1934), a prominent Ukrainian historian, literary critic, publicist, writer, political, public and statesman, left a rather detailed account of his life, his Autobiography, which was published "as a manuscript" in Kyiv in 1926 and became one of the most important sources of biographical information about the author. This edition was published on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Mykhailo Serhiyovych's birth and the 40th anniversary of his scientific work.
