One of the most important biographical sources is Hrushevsky's Autobiography from 1926. This edition was published in Kyiv as a manuscript on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the birth and 40th anniversary of Mykhailo Sergievich's scientific work. Mykhailo Hrushevsky left a rather thorough "Autobiography", printed "as a manuscript" in Kyiv in 1926.
