The publication is devoted to the work of Ukrainian theatre actress Vira Ivanovna Levytska (1916-2004), who worked in the USA since 1950. The author of the book is Valeriy Dmytrovych Revutsky (1910-2010), a Ukrainian theatre scholar, teacher, theatre critic, and a full member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2001) and of scientific societies in the United States and Canada. He is the author and editor of a number of works on the history of Ukrainian theatre in Ukraine and in the world. The research covers the entire creative career of Levytska, starting from her first stage steps, is based on materials from the actress's personal archive. The used photo materials are from the collection of the Ukrainian Museum in New York.
The copy of Odesa National Scientific Library is in a hardcover, in good condition, all pages are present. The book came from the private library of the writer, literary critic, and bibliographer H.D. Zlenko (1936-2015).
