The book-album is dedicated to the anniversary of the activity of Vasyl Konstantynovych Yemets (1890-1982) - bandura player, composer, teacher, music master, and public figure. The first part of the book contains memoirs of V. Yemets, publications about his activities, and reviews of his concert performances. The second part contains two texts by V. Yemets, which cover the history of the bandura and bandura players from ancient times to the 1940s. The appendix quotes the most important reviews of the publication.
