This edition consists of the works of two authors: Ukrainian academician, historian, philosopher and public figure Dmytro Ivanovych Baghalii and Ukrainian professor, historian, politician Matvyi Ivanovich Yavorskyi.
The book presents the reports that were read at the meeting of the Scientific Committee of Ukrglavprofobr and the Department of the History of Ukraine, the History of European Culture and Linguistics, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Hryhoriy Skovoroda, which took place on December 24, 1922 in the Social Museum named after t. Artem.
The book opens with a foreword by academician Dmytro Bagaliya and continues with the author's report, in which important questions regarding the personality of H. Skovoroda are raised. Next, the report of Professor Matvii Yavorsky was presented, in which the impact of H. Skovoroda's teaching on public opinion is discussed.
