The Odesa National Scientific Library collection holds more than 200,000 rare books of exceptional value given the history, culture, ethnology, or science and Ukraine should be entered in the State Register of Cultural Heritage.

The project which the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation supported, involves digitizing and providing free remote access to these collections and contributes to the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of Ukraine and serves the educational, research, cultural, and other needs of users and will be the integration of acquisitions of Ukrainian people in the global cultural space.
