Her books ‘Artistic Treasures of Ukrainian Embroidery’ (first published in 1950; over 20 editions in total) and ‘Traditional Ukrainian Cookery’ (1957) were published separately. In the preface to “Artistic Treasures of Ukrainian Embroidery”, the author noted: ‘In preparing this book for the Ukrainian Women's Union of Canada, we hope that this modest attempt may satisfy a burning need... inquiries about the meaning and origin of Ukrainian ornamentation depicted in folk art... To satisfy this need, we collected the information that could be gathered from the sources that were at hand.’
