In the book of the authors of the French Boulevard project, engineer V.I. Zuyev described the plans for the "expansion and improvement of the Malo-Fontana road" (French Boulevard) in order to create a place "where those who want to get to, at least for a short time, away from the stifling city, breathe fresh air and get closer to nature." They brilliantly fulfilled the task - to make French Boulevard "one of the best colors of the city of Odessa".
